It's no mystery that free shipping is an enticing value proposition to the customer. That's why you see so many major retailers offer free shipping once the shopper meets certain criteria.

In Ricochet, you can offer free shipping by the measurement of 1 of 2 options.

Cart Value: the total in the cart before tax.

Cart Quantity: the number of items a customer has in the cart

Your free shipping threshold only applies to items the customer is choosing to ship. For example, if the customer adds 4 items to the cart at $50.00 each, but 3 of them are in-store pickup only, then a free shipping threshold of $100.00 would not apply. The same method applies to Cart Quantity.

To create a free shipping threshold:

  1. Navigate to Online Store > Shipping

  2. Find the section called Free Shipping Threshold.

  3. Choose a threshold type. This can be either cart value or quantity of items.

  4. Choose the value at which the cart becomes free shipping. For example, if you wanted to have free shipping on orders of $100 or more, you would choose "Cart Value" and 100.00.

If you would like to just have free shipping across all items in your store, toggle the Free Shipping Storewide toggle to ON.
