It's no mystery that free shipping is an enticing value proposition to the customer. That's why so many major retailers offer free shipping once the shopper meets certain criteria.

In Ricochet, you can offer free shipping 1 of 2 ways:

Cart Value: the total in the cart before tax

Cart Quantity: the number of items a customer has in the cart

Your free shipping threshold only applies to items the customer is choosing to ship. For example, if the customer adds 4 items to the cart at $50.00 each, but 3 of them are in-store pickup only, then a free shipping threshold of $100.00 would not apply. The same method applies to Cart Quantity.

To create a free shipping threshold:

Inside Ricochet,

  1. Click Online Store

  2. Click Shipping

    Under Free Shipping Threshold,

  3. Choose a Threshold Type: Cart Value or Cart Quantity

  4. Input Threshold Value at which the cart becomes free shipping

    • For example, if you wanted to have free shipping on orders of $100 or more, you would choose "Cart Value" and input Threshold Value of 100.00.

If you would like to just have free shipping across all items in your store, toggle the Free Shipping Storewide toggle to ON.
