The Sales By Department Report is a great tool to see which departments are trending within your store and helps in forecasting sales.
This report relies on having a clear and consistent inventory organization by adding Departments and designating each product with its associated department.
How to run a Sales By Department Report:
Inside Ricochet,
Click Reports
Click Sales By....
Click the drop down in the upper left
Select Department
Select a date range from the date picker that you would like to have reported.

Top 5 Departments
Department Performance over the course of the date range selected. Use the drop down options to review a specific department or compare two departments.
Data
This section will show total data for each department including:
Department Name
# Of Items Sold
% of Total Sales
Sales Total (before tax)
