Setting Up A DYMO 450 Label Printer (Windows)

Step by step guide and videos on how to set up a DYMO 450 label printer on a Windows PC.

First,

  1. Leave printer disconnected from PC until drivers are installed.

  2. Download printer drivers by clicking HERE.

  • Click the drop down labeled:

  • Click Download below the Windows Option.

  • Follow the manufacturer’s instructions to install.

NOTE: Make sure you have loaded the correct labels (2.25in x 1.25in DYMO compatible labels #30334) into the printer.  

Next,

  1. Turn ON Dymo 450 Printer

  2. Search Printers from your Windows computer search (lower left corner)

  3. Select Printers & scanners

  4. Select Dymo Printer from the list of printers installed

  5. Click Manage

  6. Click Printer Properties

  7. Click the Preferences

  8. Click Advanced 

  9. From the Paper Size dropdown, select 30334 2-1/4 in x 1-1/4

  10. Click OK

    Click Ok on the next screen to return to the DYMO Properties screen

  11. Click Advanced

  12. Click Printing Defaults 

  13. Click Advanced (Properties Screen top tab)

  14. From the Paper Size dropdown, select 30334 2-1/4 in x 1-1/4

  15. Click OK

    Click Ok on the next screen to return to the DYMO Properties screen

  16. Click Apply

  17. Click OK on all applicable screens.

  18. Open Google Chrome web browser.

  19. Test your printer by going to:

    1. Ricochet Products or a Consignors Inventory

    2. Check box next to an item

    3. Click Print Labels from top left

    4. Click Print within pop-up window

    5. Verify DYMO is the selected Printer within Print Preview

  20. Click Print.
