Setup your Brother QL Series label printer. This setup uses the continous 2.4in label. Link provided at the end of this article.

  1. Install the printer using the provided Brother install CD or downloaded drivers.

  2. Once installed, locate the Brother QL printer from your “Devices and Printers” list. Devices and Printers can be found by using the Windows search tool or from control panel -> hardware.

  3. Right click the Brother QL printer and then select “Printing Preferences” from the list.

  4. A Brother printing preferences screen will display. From the “Paper Size” drop down menu select just “2.4”.

  5. Now select from the “Length” input, “1.35”. Leave “Feed” at 0.12.

  6. Select the “Portrait” radio button

  7. Click “Apply” then “OK”

  8. Next go back to the “Devices and Printers” screen, once again Right click on Brother printer. This time select “Printer Properties”.

  9. Click the “Advanced” tab, then click “Printer Defaults” from the bottom left corner.

  10. You again see a Brother preferences screen identical to the screen from before.

  11. Once again, from the “Paper Size” drop down menu select just “2.4”.

  12. Now select from the “Length” input, “1.35”. Leave “Feed” at 0.12.

  13. Select the “Portrait” radio button.

  14. Click “Apply” then “Ok”
