NOTE: Ricochet is only compatible with QuickBooks Online Essentials or a higher tier. This is the first subscription level that includes billing and vendors.
To connect QuickBooks with Ricochet:
In Ricochet,
Click Preferences
Click Integrations
Click the QuickBooks tab
If your account is not connected, a red status bar will appear
Click the green Connect to QuickBooks button
Enter your QuickBooks login information
NOTE: QuickBooks may request that you set up payments with QuickBooks if you have not already. This will require your bank account and routing information. Complete that form to continue.
Once connected, click back into the QuickBooks tab
Verify the Status shows Connected as well as the name of the QuickBooks Account you are connected to EXAMPLE:
Click Synchronize Consignors With QuickBooks Vendors
NOTE:
Depending on the size of your consignor list this process could take several minutes. In the meantime, you can still use Ricochet as normal. No need to stay on that page.
Going forward when adding a New Consignor you can simply toggle ON the option to Create QB Vendor rather than needing to re-sync the integration.
Vendor QuickBooks ID's appear in Ricochet under the vendor Account Details tab and can be found in the vendor account URL in QuickBooks.
Optional Toggles for Sales Data Reporting:
QuickBooks Sales Reporting - provides a nightly sync of your daily sales and payments data as an Invoice and attached tendered payments.
QuickBooks Cost Reporting - provides a nightly sync of your daily Store Inventory Costs from your daily sales, as well as your daily Consignor Amount Costs from your daily sales, as a Journal Entry.

If, for some reason, you are noticing that the connection doesn't work, disconnect and reconnect the integration.
You have the option to create new vendors if there is no email identified. Note that this will create new vendors if selected, whether or not they already exist within Ricochet.
You only need to do this function once. After the connection is completed, Ricochet will communicate new vendors and payouts with QuickBooks in real-time.
