With Ricochet, you can enter an item into inventory immediately at the Point of Sale. A common practice with antique malls, this can also be very useful if a customer wants to purchase an item before you have had a chance to add it to your inventory.

To run a manual sale:

In Ricochet,

  1. Click POS

  2. Click Manual Sale from the top center

  3. Enter as much information as you can:

    1. Product Name

    2. Category

    3. Tax

    4. Associate the item with a Consignor or designate as Store Inventory:

      • Consignor: simply start typing the consignor name within the consignor field (a list will drop down to select the correct consignor) or click the plus (+) sign to add new

      • Store Inventory: Toggle ON

    5. Price

    6. Quantity

  4. Click Add Item

7. Complete the sale as normal. Once the sale has finished, the item will have been added to the inventory and recorded as Sold.

! IMPORTANT !

Clicking CLEAR will remove all items, payments and sale data from POS!
