Sometimes you might have a situation where you accidentally logged the tender type incorrectly at the POS.

Fortunately, this information can easily be corrected.

*Note: Changing the tender type to or from credit card will not automatically charge or refund the customer’s card. Refunds or charges will need to be manually processed through your gateway's online dashboard or through a 3rd party terminal.

To Update the Tender Type of a completed sale:

  1. Navigate to Reports > Sales Detail Report

  2. Find the sale you are looking for. You can narrow down your options using the date picker.

  3. Once you find the sale, click the gray edit icon to the right.

  4. A modal will pop up. Here you can update the tender type for your records.

  5. Click Save.
