If you are tracking your inventory within Ricochet, you may frequently run into situations where your items sell out or begin running low without you noticing. Being proactive in which items need restocking is incredibly important to running an efficient store.

This feature is particularly important if your store sells a few items on a retail model, rather than consigned.

How to create a low stock threshold:

  1. Navigate to the Products tab in the primary navigation.

  2. Create or find the item would like to create a low-stock threshold for and click the gray 'Edit' icon.

  3. In the Pricing & Inventory box, you will see a field labeled 'Low Stock Threshold.'

  4. Enter the number you would like. If you enter 3, that will trigger the low-stock status for that item when it reaches 3 or fewer in stock.

  5. Click Save.

How to monitor your inventory for low stock:

  1. Navigate to the Products tab in the primary navigation.

  2. You will see a full list of your current inventory. Far to the right is a column for item 'Status.'

  3. If you do not see this column, you can activate it by clicking on "Edit Columns" and toggling "Status" to on.

  4. If an item is in low-stock, that status icon for that item will change to a blue 'Low Stock' indicator.

  5. If you want to see all of the items with low-stock status, you can organize by status to group them together to see them more clearly.

  6. Additionally, you can create a filter for your statuses by clicking "Add Filter," "Status," "Low Stock."

  7. This will only show inventory with low stock.
