Create a QR Code for Variant Products or Product Grouping

How to create a QR code in Ricochet for variant and grouped products.

Creating QR Codes allow you and your customers to quickly check for available inventory when you have multiple variants of a product, or when you use grouping of similar products online.

QR Codes are easily read from most smartphone and tablet cameras.

How To Enable QR Codes:

In Ricochet,

  1. Click Preferences

  2. Click Products

  3. Click Labels

    Under Additional Options,

  4. Toggle ON QR Code Labels

  5. Click Save

In Ricochet,

  1. Click Products

  2. Find an item with variants

  3. Click the Edit Pencil to the far right

    Under Pricing & Inventory,

  4. Click QR Code

    From the pop up window you can choose to print, download or cancel

    1. To Print:

      • Click the drop down to choose your label size

      • Enter quantity to print

      • Click Print

        NOTE: Ricochet QR Codes will only print in two of the sizes compatible with Ricochet label printing:

        • 2.25" x 1.25" works with most label printers

        • 1" x 1.5" will not work with Zebra label printers

    2. To Download:

      1. Click 'Download'

      2. Retrieve the PNG File from your Downloads Folder

    3. Click Cancel to close the window

How To Create A QR Code For Grouped Products:

In Ricochet,

  1. Click Products

  2. Find a product that is part of a group

  3. Click the Edit Pencil to the far right

    Under Online Store & Shipping,

  4. Click QR Code

    From the pop up window you can choose to print, download or cancel

    1. To Print:

      • Click the drop down to choose your label size

      • Enter quantity to print

      • Click Print

        NOTE: Ricochet QR Codes will only print in two of the sizes compatible with Ricochet label printing:

        • 2.25" x 1.25" works with most label printers

        • 1" x 1.5" will not work with Zebra label printers

    2. To Download:

      1. Click 'Download'

      2. Retrieve the PNG File from your Downloads Folder

    3. Click Cancel to close the window

Scan A QR Code For Product Results:

On your mobile device,

  1. Select Camera

  2. Focus over the QR Code until corners outline in yellow

  3. Select the link that populates below the code

    A browser will open to the product location for reference. See examples below.
