How to run sale by creating inventory at the Point Of Sale.

With Ricochet, you can enter an item into inventory immediately at the Point of Sale. A common practice with antique malls, this can also be very useful if a customer wants to purchase an item before you have had a chance to add it to your inventory.

To run a manual sale:

  1. Navigate to the Ricochet POS.

  2. Click the 'Manual Sale' button. This will trigger a dialog box where you now enter the item details.


3. Enter as much information as you can.

4. Select a consignor account if this is a consigned item. Select the Store Inventory toggle if it is a store-owned or retail item.

5. Click 'Add Item.'


6. The item is now added to the sale, just like if it had been in your inventory this entire time.

7. Complete the sale as normal. Once the sale has finished, the item will have been added to the inventory and sold.

Note: Click the Clear button will automatically delete items from the sale.
