Receipts include the transaction details, Sale ID, and your store's return policy (if one has been designated within the Return Policy Preferences).
The Ricochet POS software application will automatically prompt you to print, email, text* or bypass a receipt when finishing a transaction.
Note: In order to email or text* a receipt, a customer (with an email and/or phone number tied to their profile) must be attached to the sale. If no customer email or phone number is present, Ricochet will only offer the option to print a receipt or run a sale with no receipt.
How to print a receipt in the Ricochet POS:
Prepare and complete a sale in the POS
2. Upon clicking Finish, a window will pop allowing you to select the receipt type.
NOTE: The Sale ID can be used to find the sale again in the Sales Detail Report.
To Reprint A Receipt:
NOTE: You cannot reprint a receipt from the Ricochet POS App, only from a desktop computer.
In Ricochet,
Click Reports
Click Receipts
Find the Sale ID needed
Click on the Sale Number to retrieve the receipt from that transaction.
Click to print or email the receipt (if a customer email was attached).
NOTE: You can also reprint a receipt from within your Sales Detail Report by clicking on the Sale ID to populate the receipt for printing.
To bypass a receipt when finishing a transaction:
Prepare and complete a sale in the POS
Upon clicking Finish, a window will pop, allowing you to select the receipt type.
Click Done to bypass printing or emailing a receipt.
